The department of political science existed since establishment of the college in the year 1983.The faculty of political Science consist of one Associate Professor and one lecturer. The Faculty in addition to teaching B A courses, teaches the Indian constitution to B Com and B A students. The faculties also actively participate in the examination and evaluation work of mysore university, KSOU Mysore, Extra curricular activities of the college .The faculty attend many national, State level workshop etc..
The faculty evaluates the students performance through tests, viva, organizing seminars, and also arranging Special lecture programmers on political science topics.
